National Linda Day

Today is National Linda Day and according to NationalToday.com, it is a holiday to celebrate everyone called Linda!

So we had to take a moment to spotlight our very own Doctor – Linda Powell! 

Linda made her Broadway debut in Wilder, Wilder, Wilder in 1993. Other Broadway credits include On Golden Pond, The Trip to Bountiful, and A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical (her first musical on Broadway!)

She has worked as an actor Off-Broadway and regionally at Soho Rep, Playwright’s Realm, Playwright’s Horizons, Roundabout, Second Stage, Arena Stage, Long Wharf Theater, and Williamstown Theater Festival! As a producer, she has worked with Willow Cabin Theatre Company for 12 seasons.You may have seen her in your favorite television shows including “Dopesick”, “Modern Love”, “House of Cards”, “The Good Wife”, “Chicago Fire”, and more!

Linda is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, Circle in the Square Theater Training Program and the school of Michael Howard. She is a proud member of Actors Equity, SAG-AFTRA, and The Actor’s Center.
