Go Behind-the-Scenes with the Cast of A Beautiful Noise

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a performer on Broadway? In these videos, you can get a glimpse into the lives of cast members of A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical, and catch behind-the-scenes moments of the show.

Aveena Sawyer, a member of “The Noise,” took over our Instagram and shared some fun behind-the-scenes videos. In her Instagram Takeover, we get to see the cast backstage in their dressing rooms and we meet the wardrobe team, who help make sure the show runs seamlessly. In a video on our YouTube, cast member Ninako Donville gives a backstage tour at the Broadhurst Theatre. We get to see some set pieces and props in the wings of the stage, and Nina shares how the actors get from one side of the stage to the other without the audience seeing. Jess LeProtto is no stranger to the Broadway stage. Did you know? Jess was recognized as an “Outstanding Dancer in a Broadway Show” at the 2023 Chita Rivera Awards for his performance in A Beautiful Noise. Want to see what a day in his life is like? In this video, we get to see the cast rehearsing on stage before the show and some of Jess’ dance moves behind the curtain.

Shirine Babb portrays “The Doctor” in A Beautiful Noise. In a video we shared on our Instagram, Shirine answers some rapid-fire Neil Diamond trivia questions while she puts on her makeup in her dressing room. Want to see her answers? Watch the video here.

Did you know that our stage managers call the show every night? “Calling the show” means they tell the various operators (lights, sounds, microphones, spotlights, running crew, and assistant stage managers) when to make their cues happen throughout the show. In Amber Ardolino’s recent “Denim Diaries” Broadway.com vlog, she shared one of our stage managers Colyn calling the opening number of A Beautiful Noise. Want to see what this looks like?
