A BEAUTIFUL NOISE WELCOMES RISING BROADWAY STAR AMBER ARDOLINO TO THE ROLE OF ‘MARCIA MURPHEY’ STARTING TONIGHT

Tonight, A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical welcomes rising Broadway star Amber Ardolino to the role of ‘Marcia Murphey’ in the hit musical which recently celebrated its first anniversary at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street).

Tony Award®-winning director Michael Mayer said, “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Amber in the original casts of both Head Over Heels and Funny Girl and found that in both shows, I couldn’t take my eyes off her. She’s a true triple threat with genuine star quality. So when the seriously daunting task of replacing Robyn Hurder as ‘Marcia Murphey’ in A Beautiful Noise arose, Amber was a no-brainer for me. Happily, the rest of our team concurred. I couldn’t be more excited to watch her make her principal role debut opposite Nick Fradiani and the always-amazing A Beautiful Noise company.”

In addition to Ardolino, the cast of A Beautiful Noise, also features “America Idol” winner Nick Fradiani as ‘Neil Diamond – Then,’ Tony Award® and Drama Desk Award® nominee Mark Jacoby as ‘Neil Diamond – Now,’ Chita Rivera Award® winner and Drama Desk Award and Shirine Babb as ‘Doctor.’ They are joined by Jessie Fisher as ‘Jaye Posner; Michael McCormick as ‘Fred Weintraub/Tommy O’Rourke;’ Tom Alan Robbins as ‘Bert Berns/Kieve Diamond’; and Bri Sudia as ‘Ellie Greenwich/Rose Diamond.’

The ensemble, swings, and standbys include Neal Benari (standby for ‘Neil Diamond – Now’), Jordan Dobson (swing), Ninako Donville (swing), Paige Faure (ensemble), Kalonjee Gallimore (ensemble), Samantha Gershman (swing), Becky Gulsvig (standby for ‘Ellie Greenwich/Jaye Posner/Marcia Murphey/Rose Diamond’), Jess LeProtto (ensemble), Tatiana Lofton (ensemble), Aaron James McKenzie (ensemble), Mary Page Nance (ensemble), Robert Pendilla (swing), Max Sangerman (ensemble), Aveena Sawyer (ensemble), Deandre Sevon (ensemble), Vanessa Sierra (ensemble), and Sean Watkinson (swing).
